Where is Devi Industries located?
We are at 107, Siddha Thottam, Sanganur Road, Ganapathy, Coimbatore – 641006, Tamil Nadu, India. We have been manufacturing cold press oil extraction machines, agricultural and food processing equipment since 1994. Devi Industries is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company.
What types of oil extraction machines do you make?
We manufacture four main types:
- Wooden chekku (ghani) machines — 10 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg models, traditional cold press method
- Rotary chekku machines — 15 kg and 25 kg lot models, faster throughput
- Screw oil expellers — 7.5 HP, 10 HP and 15 HP models, high-capacity continuous pressing
- Oil filter presses — 7, 12 and 18 plate models in 12″ and 18″ sizes, for clarifying extracted oil
Which oilseeds can I process?
Our machines process a wide range of oilseeds. The approximate oil yield for each is:
- Peanut / groundnut — 35–45%
- Copra (coconut) — 50–65%
- Sesame — 35–45%
- Niger seed — 30–35%
- Moringa — 25–35%
- Mustard — 25–35%
- Castor — 30–35%
- Almond — 25–35%
- Sunflower — 25–35%
- Safflower — 20–25%
- Flax seed — 25–35%
Actual yield depends on seed quality, moisture content and the machine used. Contact us with your specific seed for guidance.
What is the capacity of each machine type?
Wooden chekku machines:
- 10 kg model — 10 kg/hr input (2 HP motor, 1.5 kW)
- 20 kg model — 20 kg/hr input (3–4 HP motor, 2.2 kW)
- 30 kg model — 30 kg/hr input (5 HP motor, 3.5 kW)
Rotary chekku machines:
- 15 kg lot model — 30 kg/hr throughput (3 HP motor, 2.2 kW)
- 25 kg lot model — 50–60 kg/hr throughput (7.5 HP motor, 5.5 kW)
Screw oil expellers:
- 7.5 HP — 50–100 kg/hr
- 10 HP — 100–150 kg/hr
- 15 HP — 150–200 kg/hr
Oil filter presses:
- 7-plate 12″ — 30 litres/hr; 7-plate 18″ — 100 litres/hr
- 12-plate 12″ — 100 litres/hr; 12-plate 18″ — 150 litres/hr
- 18-plate 12″ — 150 litres/hr; 18-plate 18″ — 250 litres/hr
How long does the wooden ural and rotary ulakai last?
For a 20 kg machine, the approximate life is:
- Rotary ulakai (crushing set) — 5 to 10 tonnes (approx.), replacement cost ₹6,000 + GST
- Wooden ural (crushing set) — 15 to 30 tonnes (approx.), replacement cost ₹7,000 + GST
Life varies based on seed type, moisture level and operating hours.
Do you export machines abroad?
Yes. Devi Industries is a manufacturer and exporter. We supply machines to customers across India and internationally. Forwarding and freight charges are extra and delivery is at the customer’s risk. Contact us through the contact page for export pricing and shipping details.
How do I get a quotation?
Send your requirement through the contact page or call +91 94431 74449. Your written quotation will confirm machine model, configuration, GST (18%), freight, payment terms and delivery. What is the warranty on your machines?
Our machines are built to ISO 9001:2015 standards and tested before dispatch. Please note: there is no warranty on wear-and-tear parts, and no warranty on wood or stone components. Charges for technician site visits are at the customer’s scope. Specifications and designs are subject to change without notice due to continuous product development.
